Ear, nose and throat problems are among the most common everyday medical complaints.

Many people suffer from nasal congestion, chronic sneezing, persistent nasal discharge and at least one episode of acute sinusitis every year.

Others struggle with chronic hoarseness of voice or sore throats. Ear problems, including ear discharge, pain, difficulty in hearing and those that cause dizziness and loss of balance affect a significant number of adults and children.

At Jerudong Park Medical Centre, the diagnosis and treatment of Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT) conditions, otherwise known as Otorhinolaryngology (ORL) conditions encompass the latest in medical and surgical care. Our range of ORL (ENT) outpatient and surgical services for both adult and paediatric patients include the following:

Otology

Advanced diagnostic and therapeutic (both medical and surgical) management for conditions such as ear pain, ear discharge, difficulty in hearing, dizziness and facial paralysis.

Rhinology

Assessment, diagnosis and treatment of patients with all problems related to the nose (including nasal blockage, nasal allergy and sinus infections) using the latest available medical treatment and complimented with state of the art endoscopic (“keyhole”) sino-nasal surgery.

Laryngology

A range of options is available for assessment and treatment of chronic sore throats (including recurrent tonsillitis), voice problems and swallowing difficulty.

Snoring and Sleep Apnoea

A range of assessment and therapeutic options are provided for patients with snoring, a very common but treatable condition. Also available is the diagnosis and management of sleep apnoea, which is a serious medical condition.

Head and Neck Surgery

Assessment and management of neck lumps as well as surgical disorders of the salivary glands, nose/sinuses, larynx, thyroid and parathyroid glands. We also provide screening option for nasopharyngeal cancer using state-of-the-art endoscopic and imaging facilities.

Inpatient Care

JPMC offers modern wards with 3 types of rooms to choose from: Single, Twin and Four-bedded. Each room has a scenic and therapeutic view of the South China Sea.

Surgical Suites

The operating theatre is fully equipped for all ENT surgeries including endoscopic and thyroid surgeries. Both inpatient and outpatient facilities for major and minor surgical procedures are available.
