JPMC is proud to offer a full range of Paediatric Primary and Specialty Care to meet the needs of your child. 

At JPMC primary care and consultation services are provided for children from birth through to 17 years. JPMC boasts the only hospital-based private paediatric practice in Brunei offering diagnostic facilities.

Inpatient hospital services include newborn nursery, newborn intensive care, paediatric intensive care and general paediatric care.

Our Neonatal program offers specialty services designed to meet the needs of newborn infants. The Centre provides care for all newborn infants delivered in-house with state-of-the-art medical equipment and a team of medical and nursing experts.

Paediatrician attendance at all high-risk deliveries and those mandated as requiring the presence of a Paediatrician. Health supervision, treatments of various conditions affecting newborn infants, including newborn intensive care are other services offered by the Paediatric department.

Well Baby clinics monitor the health and developmental skills of all children delivered in house up to the age of five.

Range of services provided includes common conditions affecting children, for example :
- childhood asthma and respiratory illness seizures
- dehydration from vomiting or diarrhoea 
- screening for congenital heart disease
- juvenile diabetes
- anaemia
- renal disorders
- infections affecting the upper airway, chest or kidneys

Day care facilities are available for children needing such services as intravenous rehydration, nebuliser therapy, intravenous antibiotics or simply for observation.

We also have a comprehensive immunisation programme ranging from birth through to adolescence. Many children are still not fully innoculated against all diseases as recommended by the World Health Organisation. Our Paediatrician can discuss the various packages with you and will advise you on the Immunisation programme most suitable for your child.
